Sandstone Peak Day Hike

Join Caltech Y Outdoors on a hike through the scenic Santa Monica Mountains! We will hike the Mishe Mokwa trail up to Tri-Peaks and Sandstone Peak in a some-what challenging 7 mile loop with 1700 feet of climbing. Please come prepared with plenty of water, sunscreen, and a hat, as we will likely have a hot and sunny day! And pack some food and a light lunch, as we will break for lunch during the hike. 

The trip is free, but You must have your own transportation to, and from, the trailhead or carpool with others (group contacts will be provided for those who want to self-organize carpooling)... and those carpooling should anticipate chipping in about $15 for gas.  Look for a confirmation email with more details and logistics.  Sign-ups are first-come, first-served.  Feel free to email Rithvik (rramesh@caltech.edu), Ria (riar@caltech.edu), or Kyle (khunady@caltech.edu) if you have questions.
