In the weeks before Halloween, Knott's Berry Farm amusement park in Buena Park is transformed into Knott's Scary Farm - 160 acres of horror with roaming monsters, terrifying mazes, and scare zones. It is said to be the first, largest, and longest-running Halloween event to be held at a theme park. The Caltech Y is purchasing, and subsidizing, a limited number of tickets to Knott's Scary Farm for Sunday, October 18th.
Tickets will be offered first-come, first-served starting this Wednesday, October 14th at 5:30 PM. Note: you can set up an account, if you don't have one, and fill out the form prior to 5:30 PM, just don't hit submit until 5:30 or your request will be moved to the wait list. Spaces are limited - watch for a confirmation email/invoice and make your payment within 12 hours of when it was sent to secure your ticket (failure to do so may result in your ticket being offered to someone on the wiat list).
This offer is for Caltech students only. Tickets for Caltech faculty, staff, postdocs and spouses can be requested (if any remain) starting Thursday, October 15th.
Transportation is not provided, but we will send out a roster to those who get tickets so they can arrange carpools if desired. Questions can be directed to: caltechY@caltech.edu.
