Join us for an exploration into tech policy, ethics, and society in the Silicon Valley and San Francisco areas! Our four-day trip includes lodging and most meals, transportation to and from the area if you choose, educational discussion sessions, and of course the opportunity to see Bay Area landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars, Fisherman’s Wharf, and more. Discuss privacy vs. safety and security, net neutrality and access, AI and automation and its impact on the future, workforce needs and immigration, regulation vs. innovation, general community responsibility (diversity in tech, creating harassment-free environments, etc.), and more with those who play a role in setting and implementing policy for tech companies and start-ups.
