About
From efforts to promote more sustainable living, to those that make us safer or healthier, to those just masking discrimination; parking, transportation and urban planning policies are put to use in both righteous and unscrupulous (often unforeseen) ways for the benefit or detriment of our world and those who live in it. Join us for a Caltech Y Student Activism Speaker Series (SASS) lunch to hear Adam Millard-Ball discuss research around some of these policies and the impact they are having on our communities.
Â
Adam Millard-Ball is a professor of urban planning at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs, director of the UCLA Institute of Transportation Studies, and co-director of the UCLA Center for Parking Policy. Â Prior to joining UCLA, he taught at UC Santa Cruz and at McGill University, and was a Principal with the transportation planning firm Nelson\Nygaard Consulting Associates.
