We are delighted to invite our Friends to a summer wine tasting at the Chen Neuroscience Institute Upper Gardens. For $40 per person you will enjoy selection of lesser-known grape varietal wines from Guildford Green and charcuterie from Rustic Kitchen.

WHITE WINE

Franck Peillot, Altesse (Bugey, France)

Made 100% from Al tesse grapes, this is full of energy! Like a superbloom of wildflowers and grassy meadows with a bright acidity that begs for a savory cheese like Raclette.

ROSE

Idlewild, 'The Flower' Rose (North Coast, CA)

Inspired by its Italian grapes, this charming rose is easy-drinking and pairs deliciously with casual fare, like tacos. Crapes include Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Barbera, and Crignolino

RED WINE (CHILLED)

Broe Cellars, Sogi (Lime Kiln Valley, CA)

Cabernet Pfeffer is a mystery of its own and is almost exclusively found in central California. It's friendly character makes for a refreshing chilled red.

F. Di San Martino, 'Arcipressi' (Tuscany, Italy)

A bold red wine that will satisfy any Cab lover. This field blend of grapes includes Sangiovese, Malvasia, Canaiolo Nero, Ciliegiolo, and Coloraillo.
