The RISE Program

The RISE Program is grant funded program and is a partnership between the Caltech Y, the California Institute of Technology, and the Pasadena Unified School District. The Rise Program seeks to support the students of the Pasadena Unified School District in their quest for a college education.
The program will offer a weekly tutoring program on the Caltech campus to students who demonstrate a need in the areas of math and science. Tutoring will be provided by Caltech students and will include both skills review and homework help components. In addition, Caltech will offer college preparation seminars and campus visits to help students understand their college options and prepare students for the college application process. Students participating in the RISE Program should be fully committed to attending tutoring sessions, seminars, and campus visits.
