The Caltech Y is proud to announce the Reel World Film Series.

Every Thursday in May (3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th) from noon to 1 pm, the Caltech Y will be presenting "Chicano!" (in the Y multi-purpose room) Light lunch will be served.

Spanning the years 1965 - 1975, this four-part series explores the saga of Mexican-American social activism. Combining archival footage and current interviews, the series charts the struggles of Mexican Americans to reclaim the name Chicano and fashion into a term of pride and self-determination. Lunch is free and open to the Caltech community. The Video Lunch is one of many events sponsored by the organizations of the Cultural Programming Group (CPG) including the Caltech Y.
