People at the Y

The structure of the Caltech Y is actually a dynamic mix of three different groups of people who work together to further the mission of the Y: the Board of Directors, the ExComm, and Y staff.

The Board of Directors is composed of faculty, JPL and Caltech staff, alumni, students, and community members dedicated to the enhancement of student life.

The student Executive Committee (ExComm) are a group of student volunteers who plan, coordinate, and implement the many Y programs and activities. This dedicated group of individuals is at the heart of what the Y is all about—students.

The Y staff exists to support the vision and efforts of the Board of Directors and the ExComm. The staff is comprised of three full-time staff members and two part-time interns.
